Congratulations to physicist Cecilia Clementi for her new appointment at the Freie Universität Berlin as part of the Einstein Strategic Professorships Program!

Cecilia Clementi, former SISSA student, is an expert in computer simulation of biomolecules and one of three researchers so far to have received support from this program.

After receiving her PhD at SISSA, she held a postdoctoral fellowship at UC San Diego. She then moved to Rice University in Houston, Texas, where she was until recently professor in chemistry and chemical and biomolecular engineering and senior scientist at the Center for Theoretical Biological Physics.
