2025: Year of Artificial General Intelligence or an AI plateau?

Abstract:
Are we on the brink of a transformative era of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), or are we facing a plateau in AI progress? We will explore the state of AI in 2025, focusing on the breakthroughs, bottlenecks, and broader implications for humanity and make some predictions for what we can expect in the next 12 months

The 2024 General Assembly of the SISSA Alumni Society will take place online on Saturday 13 April. The first call will be at 1PM CEST. The second call will be at 2PM CEST. A link to join online will be sent to the members a few days before the Assembly.

During the Assembly, there will also be the election of the Board. 

In order to vote, each member should be up to date with the membership fees (we recommend you to pay by Friday 12). If you are not a member of the society you can join here .
